Formats and Fill Weights
Stand-up pouches run from 1 g and 3.5 g single-dose sizes up to 1008 g bulk packs, with 7 g, 14 g, 28 g, 126 g, 252 g and 504 g as the common retail steps. Flat pouches, three-side seal bags and gusseted formats use the same structures, and print-free stock is available for repackers.
Barrier Structures
PET / VMPET / PE gives a strong light and oxygen barrier at moderate cost for most retail programmes; PET / AL / PE is the choice where the longest shelf life and near-zero oxygen transmission are required. Opaque, matte and holographic finishes are available without giving up barrier performance.
Child-Resistant Closures
Push-and-slide and press-to-close child-resistant zippers are tested for repeated open and close cycles, so the pack still works on the twentieth opening. Certification support is available for markets that require child-resistant packaging documentation, and tamper-evident tear strips or heat-seal tops can be combined with the zipper.
